Music, art, sports, and educational opportunities all enrich a community, which is
why U.S. Bancorp proudly supports many such organizations. Our sponsorships also give us one more way to give something back to our communities. For example, U.S. Bank's sponsorship of high school activity associations affect more than a half million students involved in extracurricular activities in Oregon, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Utah. These sponsorships help reduce costs for schools that compete in state-level sports and fine-arts competitions, giving students a chance to develop important skills necessary for success in adulthood.
We also support many leading arts and cultural organizations in our 24-state banking region, such as the Fox Theatre's U.S. Bank Broadway Series in St. Louis, Denver Center for Performing Arts and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We also extend sponsorship support to many other arts and cultural activities - from festivals to flower shows - representing a diverse range of talents and interests throughout our 24-state banking region. In addition, we sponsor six pro sports teams and a number of minor league and collegiate teams and programs.
